DUBLIN -- Day 5

So this title is a wee bit misleading, since we were in Kilkenny all day, but I'm following a theme of the Dublin trip, so it is what it is.

Bailey on the very cold bus in the morning... There was frost on the windows of cars in the parking lot, so we could still see our breath for a while on the bus

Kilkenny Castle!!

The park in front of Kilkenny Castle

The Chinese waiting room

Part of the hand-painted walls have been restored, but the rest are just as they were back in the 1700s I believe...

One of the more elaborate bedrooms
The aptly named Blue Hallway

The Moorish Staircase -- very cool arches and color combos

The Portrait Gallery, with lots of cool originals and a carved, hand-painted ceiling

Either crocuses or irises blooming on the front lawn :)

The typical sun-and-rainclouds combination

The sunset behind Croagh Patrick -- a welcome sight at long last!!!
So now we get to be home for a good long stretch -- I'll probably update with fun things that happen in normal Louisburgh life, but before long it'll be Spring Break and adventures with the fam will commence!!!!!!!! Until then,

-S
